Kyosho FO-XX Questions?
 

Thinking about picking one of these up.

Looks like its based on the Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser VE with some upgrades, not sure what is upgraded though.

Big question for me is what is the maximum motor can length that can be used?

Thinking of a 1518 or 1520 to drop in with a MMM2.

Next question, what is the maximum pinion size that can be used, and the minimum. Looking to get an idea of gearing range.

Well the orion neon 8 motor is 40mm in diameter. And it looks like it is pretty close to the chassis in the pic. I have not found a pinion spec, looks like a 15t to me, Mod1. If you try to run a castle motor it might not fit due to the larger diameter.

The motor is 60mm in length and there appears to be plenty of room behind the orion motor in the pic so a 1520 should fit length-wise.
