Got a question about.....
 

I got my body for my truck, and a second for my girls truck. The problem is, she threw the tag away for her body and I'm not sure what kind of plastic it is. So here's my question: will polycarbonate paint work on any plastic?:032:

Im guessing yes, i have seen some tamiya paints that are polycarbonate and work great for rc-bodys but require a protective coat.(clear coat)

Stick with Pactra paint. All RC car or truck bodies are lexan so just paint the inside with some type of Polycarbonate paint. Faskolor on the other hand needs something to back it. Its a waterbase paint made by Parma. Its great but can be a pain to spray sometimes. Just stick with Polycarbonate paint for the most part. As for links, just check out TowerHobbies.com

Pactra is the accual paint. It is for lexan bodies. I like to back all my paint up with something. I found a thread on painting and read it up. It had some very great tips in it. I not sure where. It had a website to with some great tips.

I give you a few tips. Back all your paints with black white or sliver. You don't need to back these up. Hope this helps you out.

You dont have to back polycarbonate paint unless its a light color you can see through. In that case, you can just back it with more polycarbonate paint. Faskolor needs to be backed no matter what because its a water base paint. You can back it with polycarbonate paint as well. You dont have to back polycarbonate though. I usually just back it with the last color I sprayed.
