Hello all

This is my newest project in it's early stage of BL conversion. Ultra MBX 80% kit. I have two 18v 3000mah makita Li-Ion battery packs for it. Warrior 9920 controller that i'm scapping for a Quark 125b Monster, I currently have a BK 9L that i'm scrapping for a 8XL. I traded the funky rear brace for Traxxas Tubes how do you like em? Oh and these are the tires I have for it.:018:

Thanx coolhandcountry

Does anyone know if there are cva's or universals for the rear and center for the Ultra MBX like the ones on the 9.5 pro in the pics ??:032:

Looking good! Are those tires on the 9.5 Proline Knuckles?
I think the Traxxas Tubes are a good trade-off for the stock rear plate.

highhat 06.02.2006 09:48 PM

yup

Yup those are ProLine knuckles good eye:017: The 9.5 belongs to a friend of mine who turned me on to the Brushless setup.

It looks like this one:
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=44991
at $459.99

HarborFreight also has a smaller one:
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=47158
at $249.99
I've been thinking about buying this one for some time. I'd expect it would handle just about any normal R/C part, short of a chassis.

Sylvester 06.08.2006 03:42 PM

I might look into that mini drill, looks promicing. Looks like it can handle about anything on that we work on.
