Whats the best/easiest truggy for Brushless Conversion?
I'm thinking about doing a brushless 1/8 buggy or truggy conversion. Any opinions on what is the easiest to convert to brushless? You know, taking into account, battery space, motor mounting, etc... Also, any to avoid as especailly difficult.
I think Im gonna start cruzin ebay for a roller to convert. Any input is apreciated, and reasoning for the opinions is also helpfull. I'm thinkin about the Jamin truggy right now, but I think it will wind up being what I can get a good deal on. I have no special afinity toward any one brand. |
I would go for a Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium Pro or Pro-R. If not that, my second choice would be a Jammin X1 buggy.
|
I would suggest Jammin CRT, it has a lot of room on the chassis for mounting batteries and things, I hope to unveil my CRT conversion in a week or so, I was even able to use the stock radio box, while fitting 8s lipo and a lehner 2240.

I did a hotbodies lightning.
But the jammin' is nicer, it has got this nice centerdiff that gets out pretty easy. (for service maintenance) the lipo's are a good option imo, they make converting easier. the take less space and weight less too (so your holder doesn't need to be too beefy) you can do with some assiciated or kyosho batteriecups. |

Wow, I've seen some awsome conversions and modifications in this forum but this is hands down the nicest I've had the pleasure of seeing.
I will admit that Dafini's Revo is pretty sweet also. |
I like Dafni's revo better!!
Thanks for the compliment though. |
Nice truck...
I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a good deal on a roller, either a buggy or truggy. |
check Ebay.
You might as well consider the e-revo from Mike. He sells the front and rear end of the revo and the gorillamaxx revo conversion. |

nl12....I'm looking forward to seeing this one  |
One thing I have heard bad about the CRT's is that the parts wear out fairly fast. Not good IMO.

I'm lookin for a new project. I think I like building them as much as drivin them. This freakin hobby is addictive.:D I'm think I want a project that I need to actually build and do some fabing. The e-revo w/ gmaxx chassis is just kinda buy-n-bolt. I love the thing, bit I think I want to do something a little 'next level' for the next project. |

That is cause it is fun to build as well as drive. I find it exciting to take a new project out to see how it is going to do. You don't know what to expect exactly. I think that is the exciting part.

Its too bad we cant get all of our projects at the same time and race them on your own : say control 4 cars in one shot on a track that equals 8arms finally gone seriously addicted thanks to this forum thanks to all the RCmonster pro s BL the only way to go without the mess!!!!!!
