ue 8spy diffs are 240 as i last recall
stick packs and brushless don't mix, you'll crumble the cheap tin strips or what they call "battery bars." Check out www.fusionbatteries.com . the whole list sounds good, but i find get stuff one at a time is more user friendly than all at once. just me though |
can you do me a favour and maybe eopy that llist and edit it and send it to me in email at vwghiadude@hotmail.com if you want to. anyone that would change just do that instead of telling me via this
|
Fusion also carries gp 3700!!!
i'd also get: UE servo save gen 4 UE cvds over MIP (they cost bout the same, within 5 bucks of each other) http://fusionbatteries.biz/Merchant2...ory_Code=EMaxx i have them and love them. Great upgrade from promatch or ballistic (in other words any hand soldered pack). Good 'ol hitorque servo. Mike is carring one, i'd get the 94358Z model made by airtonics. Extremley fast with unbelievable torque. This and the servo save makes a killer combo. |
I recently hooked up with a battery supplier and will be able to provide hand buiklt packs of different voltage and quality, including gp3700s and IB3800s when they are released.
|
how are the IB3800? Are they the same size as 3300? toby, do not get any 3700, they are bigger than 3300 and will not fit in the gorillachassis...unless i'm missing something, but the gorilla chassis is made for 3300, so i'm assuming it wouldn't fit a 3700 because they are significantly bigger
|
thanx man. is that price for two batteries or just 1?
|
supermaxx, i personally have the gp3700's and they are greart by the way , they fit in my chassis perfictly, just not like the gp 3300's.
|
The IB 3800s aren't due till next month. The IB 3600s are the same size as the 3300s, but with lower IR. The 3800s should have better voltage and equally low IR. Not sure on the size. The gp3700s are only slightly bigger from what I understand, and should'nt be an issue for the g-maxx chassis, especially with the new battery hold down that will be available soon.
|
toby,
you get 2 7 celled packs and gmaxx straps in that link i gave you. mike, on the fusion site, they said that most every chassis will need to be modded in order to fit the gp3700 on the chassis. |
yes, I am aware of this. The cells have a larger diameter. The g-maxx chassis does not close in the batteries, though, so they may just fit without mods. George and I have discussed the possibility of a lower plate redesign/additional design to accomodate the batteries. I don't have any to test the theory yet, though.
|
The GP3700 are only 0.01 inch bigger in diameter over the 3300. With 8 flat cells this amounts to just a fraction over 2mm in length longer than an 8 cell 3300 pack. I really can't see a problem with this on the gmaxx chassis.
I've just ordered 2 packs of 8 cell GP3700 for my Gmaxx CF chassis. I'll let you know if I have any problems. |
can we get back to the purpose of this topic please? batteries are for a battery thread not about my truck:M:
|
Sorry Toby
I think your spec is very good, personally I would go for a UE gen2 suspension over the Gmaxx suspension, 7075 versus 6061.. no contest. Also I'd opt for GA 7075 bulks. While you're at it why not go 10L on 16 cells for better runtimes. |
got a link for that suspension?
