Programming MGM controller

I searched for other threads about this, but i didnt find a answer. I turned on my esc, and radio, and after 10 seconds it beeps. I tried doing the foward then rezerse thing, but it doesnt work. Every time i turn it on it beeps after 10 seconds.

Just a single beep after 10 sec.? You may have to mess around with reversing the throttle channel (on the transmitter) and playing around with endpoints (if you can do that).

No it keeps beepoing after 10 seconds, and i dont understand the directions.

I have never programmed a esc before, and this is my first brushless

Is there a particular pattern to the beeping? The instructions have a list of the error codes that relates to the pattern of the beeps.

I had a problem like that. I had the epa on tx to much.

James 06.12.2006 06:50 PM

I tried it again, and no mater what i do, it beeps continuesly after 10 seconds

James 06.13.2006 01:10 PM

has anybody had this problem before

Cartwheels 06.13.2006 03:54 PM

I had a problem like that once with my MGM. I ended up having to use a different radio system.

James 06.13.2006 03:59 PM

I have two other radio systems, but do you have to program the controller to use it?

MetalMan 06.13.2006 04:19 PM

Yes, the controller needs to be programmed. Otherwise, it doesn't know what neutral, full forward throttle, and full reverse throttle are.

coolhandcountry 06.13.2006 06:10 PM

If 100% epa don't work try 80%. It may have to much movement. Make sure you are pushing the right dirction. I was doing that at first as well. If the full forward doesn't work try full reverse and see what happens when turning on the esc.

Im ready to retern this stupid controler.:019: Im 13 and so $700 is like someone with a job spending like $10,000, and it feels like I wasted all my money on this thing because it doesnt work. I had it for over a month, and its still not working. Can i call the owner mike? Is his phone number anywhere?
