AE Battery Cups
 

I know hundreds of people have used these on their nitro -> electric conversions just as I did. I just have one question. Earlier I ran into a curb at about 1/4 speed and the batteries just flung out bending batt bars and all. Maybe I should be shoo-gooing these things together to make it so that doesn't happen?

I'm looking to purchase gorillamaxx straps, will those help hold these things in place, because the 1/8th is nearly indestructable by itself, so I want to narrow down the week points in my setup.

do you mean shoo-gooing the batteries together? if so then yes do that it will help the batteries stay together. also try and using the AE battery cups and the gorillamaxx straps together for a secure battery placement.

I use a glue gun to glue all the cell's together. With the ae cup's there way stronger than the gmaxx strap's. Battery can't go anywhere with those 2 piece's of plastic over them.

You can also use heatshrink around the pack to make it a lot stronger. Combine that with Shoe Goo, and your batteries should be quite strong.
