mounting esc switch to servo

i was wondering if using servo tape to attach the esc power switch to the hitec 5955tg servo would lead to any problems?

hope it doesn't cause i have my receiver switch on the stock throttle servo....have had it on for 2 months with nothing wrong

I would tend to agree - the case of the servo is plastic if i recall correctly - so you should be alright...

it looks like it might have a built in heatsink on it. will that affect anything?

Im not too sure - i havent tried to feel the temp on the side of the servo - it is a high output servo - but i dont know exactly how hot the servo will get. Maybe someone with some experience with the servo will chime in and help ya out...

thanks hnc. should be o.k. i had it mounted to my esc, and that was to hot for servo tape. it should be o.k. on the front of the servo. thanks again, tally.
