ESC with lvc
 

I'm getting a new brushless system for my Revo. I've got an old HV-Maxx, but I didn't have to read many threads to find out that an upgrade is recommended. I want an esc that has low voltage cutoff and a motor. The price isn't really that important. Would a $90 motor be good enough? Or are the more expensive motors that much better?

I think I've read almost every single thread about brushless setups. There's probably an answer to all my questions out there somewhere but I hope you can tolerate a new thread on this. There isn't much help on forums here in Norway as nitro seems to be the only thing that matters. My great plan is to build a Revo that blows away all their ideas about electric power not being suited for a monster.

Well it seems that the new Quark 125 is a must as for the esc. I would honestly recommend the Lehner 1950 as for motors. Is your Revo a G2R? or converted? Anywho, I run the Feigao motor on my Revo and it does great, but if you can afford it, the Lehner 1950 is the way to go.

Welcome to the forums furu! The quark would be perfect as stated and a 1950 would be the ultimate setup! It would be almost cog-free and run very cool!

All has already been said, so...WELCOME and enjoy. If you are worried about price and want something a little more than a HV, a 10xl like squee said and a 9920, but that's minimum. you'll find eventually that you'll want more anyway, so shop before you buy. And, the Quark and 1950 is the way as you will read on here. What you pay is what you get. Did i miss anything guys?

The Lehner vs. the Feigao. What do you get? More speed? Does it last longer? More reliable?

I'm building a G2R. I started to convert the standard chassis but I didn't get the balance right because of the batteries.

Can you guys help me with a choice for pinion/spur on the Lehner? I'd like to run Crime Fighters as well as Moabs. 40 series of course.

I not sure on your cell count. For the moabs 40 seres may be hard on the diffs. The revo has a decent strength in diffs but not bullet proof.

the spur and pinion you use depends on the motor you have, also the size of your tire. I run 40 series crime fighters with UE diffs....seems to do well with a 20T/51T with strobe. ALthough, i only have one run with the 20T pinion. Also, that with a gmaxx....

Well first off, UE diffs wont work with a Revo :p. I would run 16 cells and a 1950/8 probably, with the Quark 125. Gearing would be around 18/51 for Crimes.
