G2 X-Brace Conversion/ Need Help

I am currently planing on purchasing a G2 x conversion. I have a stock E-Maxx and would like to know if everything bolts up directly?? While changing over to the G2-X I am putting in a HV Maxx brushless motor. I am also going to go with the 1 speed tranny and the gorilla motor mount. RPM suspension arms, MIP cvd' and some heavy duty shocks will be installed. What else would be a wise investment at this time? What kind of gearing should I use? Will the stock diffs be tough enough? Thanks,Pinball:

Steel Idlers (GET THEM FROM MIKE - I made the mistake of backordering from UE)

Umm, stock diffs should work but they wont be 100% reliable, grab a Hardcore Aluminum Diff case (or any aluminum diff case, but the Hardcore ones are very high quality and they have very good tolerances). Also go order this with the robinson ring and pinion. You can just do the diff mods for the rear, from should be fine, but if you can spring for the front, might as well do it too.

Go ahead and also get the Fastlane aluminum diff case. On this page the have just the 1/2 case you need for the single speed setup, this way, your tranny will be 100% bullet proof, and if you do thie diffs, so will they.

All the G-Maxx stuff pretty much bolts on.

Start with the Novak Recommended gearing and watch the temps, if its a bit hot, go down a tooth until it runs nicely, if it runs cool, you can try gearing up a bit.

If you going to buy shocks I would recommend ue. You can buy 4 to do better than stock and 8 just kicks.

A slipper would be a must. Even with the HV. I would get the Strobe setup and Mod1 gears. One thing you would break before all else though, is the bulks. Instead of getting bulks and cases, get the FLM combos. They incorperate the cases into the bulkheads and are the strongest setup you can get. Plus, it almost works out to the same as the cases and bulks combined.

The problem with a strobe and hv is trying to get it geared low enough. You may want to look at the robinson racing slipper. You can get a 76 tooth spur to really help with low gearing.

HYBRID BULK HEADS or combo there really great considering there made by flm.

trust me i've broken so many bulkheads, i stoped counting at 6 or 7. (stock)
im running the new gray bulks and seem to hold up reall good now.

another is some lunsford tie' pins or traxxas ones. exacly what type of G2 chassis are you buying al, or carbon-fiber?
