Last Question I promise - 1950/8 of 7 turn for Savage

I am using a 3 speed tranny with my Savage 4.6 kit on 40 series wheels/tires. I have carbon fibre tvps, 6061 aluminum suspension arms all around, as well as nova racing shock towers.

I am settled on the quark 125b and have already ordered 2 x 3s 6000mah lipos for 6s operation aong with Hyperion charger and balancer.

Run time is not a consideration...will the 7t give me all the torque I need without burning up my controller or should I be safe and stick to the 8t. I need to be able to 50mph and continuous high speed wheelies.

Whichever you recommend, a pinion recommendation would be nice. Also it's 30-32C here in Barbados when we run our trucks.

Thanks again guys!

In your position I would take the 8. It will give you that bit more torque and stress the controller less.

If those two are the only options; 8S indeed.

What other motors can do better on 6S and not kill my controller?

If you're referring to the 22 series...I gathered that I would need more power to really see the benefits of it...

The 1950/8 would be a good motor...

1950/10 will be great and you can use different gearings for different applications. I'll be using it, hopefully, with 26-30T pinion and strobe slipper in the future for some occasional, crazy speedruns.
