UE shock and FLM
Hi.
I am French sorry for the faults. I wanted to know if shock UE fit with the shock tower FLM and arms FLM. I use a MIP driveshaft.I have a rear shock (ofna 9.5). But my drive cups touch the driveshaft. thank:027: |
First off, welcome to the forums! You shouldn't have any problems with the FLM arms, towers, and the Ofna shocks.
|
KiKi, could you please explain how your drive cups are touching the dirve shafts?
Welcome to the Monster team. |
If your cups touch the driveshafts, you need to screw the pillowballs further out.
Welcome to the forum! |
Thanks:018:

You don't want to drive your maxx THAT high!
Keep it lower, so it wont touch the arms. |
I know I drive with the bigbore.
thank |
You have the older version of the flm shock towers. If you had the newer version You could mount the shock higher which would lower the truck.
the buggy shocks for the rear has more travel than the ue shocks. The back ones any way. |
thank
The UE shock are they shorter than 9.5 shock?? thanks |
The body is not accually shorter just the shaft.
The front buggy shocks are almost the same length as a stock shock. You may want to consider them. You could get the newer version of flm towers. I like them better any how. It may be cheaper to. The newere one has .5 in more adjustment and is thicker. has 20 shock position holes to instead of thritteen |
It looks like your problem is that the shock is just plain to long. The FLM towers or new shafts are your only options.
|
thanks
I will buy the UE shocks because I need sandoffs 6mm and springs |
