Feigao 540c 9l in trouble
 

Hi all,

Since my last run my 540C 9L doesn't want to work correctly !

When I want to go forward/backward here is what I have : (I made a little movie about my trouble whith full throttle on)

That's puzzling,what esc is it and do you know if it works with another motor.
My guess would be that it's not a problem with the motor but with the esc or radio or batteries.

I know that some "bip" were heard during my last run and the car stopped, but I don't know where these "bip" came from. I thougth it was a heating problem from motor or esc (I have a BK9920). I made a new programing sequence from the 9920 but it didn't solve the problem.
Unfortunately I haven't got any other motor or esc to test whith...

The noises are normally the controllers making sounds through the motor.

It seems like it may be the esc.I'd try reprogramming it again just incase and possibly take the heatshrink off and look for any damage,and check that the programming jumper has a good connection.

Another thing to do is check all the connections throughout including the batteries.
If the steering is working smoothly then you can try the esc in the steering slot on the reciever to rule out a bad reciever connection,unlikely to be that though if you're getting the programming beeps.

Does the motor turn fine by hand? If not, then one or more coils could have overheated and unglued and are now touching the rotor.

Kinda sounds like the ESC has a bad output phase or something.

I checked my connections, all is good and steering works fine, I have all beep in programming the Warrior sequence.
I'll try to take the ESC heatshrink off and check the motor on tomorrow.

You've probably already tried this, but if not...

unmount the motor and leave the screws out, THEN try. It seems very similar to the problem I had where my mount screws were SLIGHTLY longer than they should have been.

Once I shortened the screws by 1mm it worked fine... so again, take out the screws, and see if that fixes the problem. I hope it's that easy for ya!

I ordered the BK programming cable and restored the factory default settings, and now it works, yeah !

The Warrior had only lost its settings !
