MT2 Combo?

Hi everybody.
I will like to know your opinion Schulze 18.97KWF / Lehner 4200XL combo is a good candidate for a HPI MT2 or similar sized 4wd Stadium Truck?
I already owns this combo.
Thanks:037:

That sounds like a great combo for an MT2. How many cells will you be running? 2s lipo or 6~7 cells would be pretty mild, but 3s lipo or 9~10 cells would be blazing fast!

Thanks for the response.
I would use on 3 lipo cells.
How is running your MT2?
Thanks.:037:

It's a lot of fun and scary fast. With a 4200XL on 3s lipo, you may want to consider getting aluminum diff housings to make sure they don't strip, especially if you don't have the 18SS machined diffs.

What mods you had done to your MT2? Which pinion/spur combo are you using?
Thanks:037:

My base vehicle is an 18SS. I'm using an RC Solutions roll cage for extra stiffness and protection since I removed half of the top deck. From GPM, I have their center CVD's, rear shock tower, front and rear hubs, front uprights, and diff cases. I'm also using Mayhem 1/8 buggy shocks, because I bent two stock shocks and wanted something stronger.

I'm currently geared 52/15, but I think I need a smaller pinion.
