Welcome to the Forums!

While maybe possible with A LOT of work, you'd be better off sticking with the emaxx suspension and maybe upgrading it, or get a Revo and convert to electric. They are two totally different animals. If you look at the Revo and the Maxx side-by-side, you'll see how just about everything is placed differently because of the suspension.

There is alot better systems than the HV. A system from here will perform much better and will be about the same price.

i would say stay away from the hv maxx. i have had two and there not much chop .i had a lot of thermal trouble with them shuting down . even with the recommended gearing. and the truck still did not have much punch when geared down. i would buy a brushless from rc monster you will not look back their brushless will blow the doors of the hv

i was looking at brushless motors from rc monster and was wondering if i needed two motors with this type of brushless setup (Lehner Basic XL2800 brushless motor) and what kind of esc should i run. i wont a durable and long lasting esc

If budget allows, the Quark 125 would be the best. As for motors, I would choose the Feigao C XL motors. The Lehners are good, but get pretty hot.

what kind of speed will i get with this type of motor Feigao C XL motors. with minumal drivetrain up grades

It depends on how many cells and which motor you choose. How many cells are you gonna run?

:D :027: :017: i plan to run 12 cell for now and build 7 cell packs when i get the time to. i'm probaly going to run quark pro 125b esc and feigao540xl: 7xl or feigao/nemesis/wondera "xl" 7x brushless setup. what kind of speeds would i hit with that type of setup?

squeeforever 07.25.2006 05:36 PM

I would say around 45 or so.
