which one is the best stampede ?
 

I,m thinking about buying a stampede but i don't know if i choud get the new or the old one ? i,m gonna convert it into brushless powwer right away so i will not use the stock electronics. is the revo slipper the only drivetrain upgrade on the xl-5 stampede ? wil it fit the old one ? how about the wheel bearings are they bigger on the xl-5 ?

Get the newer one. I would go for a Rusty if you plan on using BL though. The newer ones have the grey stuff which is stronger, the slipper, better tranny, ect.

I've actually read from a review on Ultimate RC that the new gray plastic isn't actually much stronger (if at all) than the old plastic, but that it's lighter. But for all of the features on the newer Rustler/'Pede, they're much more worth it.
