More Qs for Tallyram from satinstruck(H.K.)

Dear Tallyram:
Thanks for your advise and I would like to ask you some more Qs. Well, I'll purchase 1. G2 X-Brace Chassis
2. ............... Motor Mount
3. ............... Extension Kit
4. G1 Single Speed Conversion Kit
5. G3 Race Suspension Kit
6. G3 Race Skid Plates
And other parts to build me Electric Maxx. I'm just wondering if there's any other recommand from you? For example, what other aluminum parts, special items, speed control, batteries....etc should I get for my truck??? Also, should I get one of those aluminum roll cage for the truck? Gee, I think that's enough Qs for now. Will talk later. Thanks alot!

How many cells are you planning on using?

Looking at your wishlist makes me think you want a racer, correct?

Hi Serum:
Yes, I think I do want a racer! Well, I'm planning to use at least 12+ 4300mah cell!!! What's your advise? By the way, I just checked out the RC4WD web site and interested in the ROCKBULL 2 ADVANCED ROCK CRAWLER TRUCK KIT. Do you think the kit worth US$999.99, and if that's a good one????

With that amount of cells;

the 7XL would be my choice. I love it on 12/14 cells. stays cool too (i do use a heatsink) i use it with the 9920, which hasn't thermalled on me yet, and i have got no fan installed on her.

Can you pass me a link to that truck?

just go to www.rc4wd.com, go under categories, click on any of the crawling... or crawler...choices and you'll see some really awsome big alu truck!!! have fun and tell me what you think after you're done.

I like the JPS clodbuster a lot better when it comes to looks.

I don't like a few bended plats with some rodds.

Satinstruck, if your gonna race, I would choose the Integy Type 3 Pro suspension instead of the Gorillamaxx. I think its more durable and I like the fact that it does away with the rear tierods. Also, go with the Proline Powerstroke shocks. There second to none. And lastly, don't get the GP 4300's. They don't hold there voltage well at all. The IB 4200's would be my choice.
