Conversion Kit for Savage X
Hello ,
Since I get quite a few complaints about the noise level from my Savage X, I was wondering if there is a conversion kit for this model. I want to fit a nice brushless engine , but keep the 2 speed gear box and dual disc brakes as well Is this possible ?? |
It is possible to run the brushless with 2 speed and brake. The 2 speed has to run with the brake accually. I don't know of a kit right off for it.
You would need a y connector for brake servo and esc or you can have it with the mixing feature on some radios. |
What about the conversion kit , what do I need , I saw something from Kershaw, but is this the only conversion kit around ???
|
Well I designed and had the motor mount made.
I made the bottom battery tray as well. I not sure on a kit for it. It used to be one around. Pm or ask serum. He would know more on kit. |
I don't know about a kit for the savage-x, i will look into it this evening.
feel free to snif around at my site to give you an idea of what motormounts you can make yourself. klick |

I think Mike can make you one too..
|
Can Mike make any other mounts as well? I'd love to get a mount/battery tray for the new Losi 8ight. Anyone seen one in person? Enough room to fit all the electronics in there? An MBX5 would do me as well. :)
|
Mike can make you pretty much anything if you have a CAD drawing or a sketch.

i have the kershaw mounts for brushless but it is for the older sav models im not sure if it will work with the X..
