pinions
Hi, i got a 7xl feigo motor. i need a pinion so that i could put it in an electric stampede. Is there any here?
There is, but a XL is just to much for a Stampede.
Heck, even a 540S motor can be too much for a pede if you use enough cells. :p
I was told:
20 serial /3 paraller= 60pc cells needed to give 24volts & 120 amps ..max for controller Is it too much? |
What kind of cells are you talking about?
VTEC 3700UP
was what I ment to buy ,but the answer came... and that these would give about 30amps cont/40 peak |
so I took instead :3times MaxAmps Lipoly 8000mah 2S2P 7.4V Pack
to have 22,2volts .. (paying takes the whole autumn :( ) |
22.2V is way to much for a 7XL. A 7xl is better off running on 4s lipo (14.8V) Any more and you'll overheat it.
Sounds like way overkill. You better have one strong tranny. The stocker will explode on that power. They just arent built for it. |
In a Pede, the weight and size alone are a no-no.
It's two different people posting, I think. Not the same guy.
Two people indeed, that's why it's good to let someone know you are hijackin, or start your own thread. A stampede is pretty light, not sure if i would go 4s lipo. maybe 3s or 2s, and definately not an xl!!! Maybe a Mamba system???
the pitch on a stampede is 32 pitch am i correct? im shure mike has some 5mm 32P pinions.
The stampede used 48p gears, but you can swap them for 32p gears without any problem.
To prevent motor overheating I use 2 sets of integy made coolers (INT-c22379x)
.... You better have one strong tranny. The stocker will explode on that power. They just arent built for it. answer: At first I learn of motor/controller sets with old shumacher club 10 ,no need to last long ;) and next kyosho RS The RS has steel diff-gears but it needs metal spur (48dp 75-80th) or same size as 32dp( ???th??) it has metal Steering Knuckle's too. Anyway, this car may not see over 15 volts.. Pre-deal is made of used inferno, for real USE. Believe it is needed for full voltage. anyway, with 8g spiders-diffs that I already have. does it need titan pins? else? |
