I'll be there!

I expect to run my G-Maxx and my XXX-T MF.
It's sure to be some great noise-free fun! :027:

Unfortunately the race has been postponed to the following Saturday thanks to uncertainty with Ernesto...here is a Post from Peter V, editor of RCCA...

RACE DATE CHANGED!

I just spoke to Jay, and since rain isa pretty much a sure thing, we decided to move the race from this Saturday (September 2) to next Saturday (September 9).

If there's no rain on September 2, the track WILL be open for a regular day of racing, but the Battery Blast will still be held the following weekend (September 9).

Just saw the layout...looks great. Jumps a little small for us E-MT guys but that just means the race with be won or lost in the corners...pix are posted at the top (start) of the RCCA Thread on this race, you can see it here:

Hope to see you there...

costs quite a bit to enter in a main, wow 35$

squeeforever 09.05.2006 09:12 PM

$35 isn't that bad...Last race I wen to was $25 I think and I won $75 in glow plugs...

Mike.L 09.05.2006 09:20 PM

over here a my local track it cost ten buks CAN and for trophy races 25, 20 if you pre-register

Sylvester 09.05.2006 09:22 PM

Really, for the money we spend on r/c, 35 is pocket change;)

neweuser 09.06.2006 01:02 AM

Pocket change yes! But 35 is a tad high. i think 20-25 is not that bad. But at the same time, to find an e race is not as common anymore! they should let BL go against Nitro's in any event, the very competative IMO

Electric Dave 09.06.2006 08:29 AM

This isn't going to be your usual trophy race. There are huge dollar give aways. I stopped down to the track and saw a pile of 4 brand new Team Associated vehicles and a slew of other goodies. If you come, you will get your money's worth...
