My SuperFLMaxx. GrandArk Phase.1
4 Attachment(s)
Well, after quite sometime I'm finally done putting together this truck.
Results did not meet my expectations 100% ( especially the FLM parts). Otherwise, I really like it and surely I'm thinking of a Phase.2 where I can make up a truggy out of this truck and eventually have it all built out of UE, GA and G-Maxx parts. I'm planning to use the Lehner 1950/10 motor and Schulze 149.18 with 51 spur and 24t pinion with Evo30 3700mah 6s packs, for now. And later, 8s might come on the way with the completion of Phase.2. and a MGM 16024. Oh well, I would like to thank the following people who helpped me finish this project: -Sylvester -Papa -Sicco -Squeeforever -Rene And Mike for supplying all of these parts for me. The people mentioned above did help me alot and they kept checking up my questions to as far as they could possibly manage. Really, THANKS, guys!:) Here're some pics: |

I like it alot! Nice truck. I bet you can't wait to get it dirty though!!!!!
|
Looks good Captain.
Hard to tell from the pictures; Did you put some love and pollish in/on the setback arms? What size of pinion is that? looking at it's shape i think Mike made it.. :p |
Nice truck.
Now go and get it dirty! |
Thanks for taking a look, guys.
I did not put enough light to make the pictures clear enough, sorry, though. This is a 24T pinion ( very hefty!) and yes, I've almost polished everything you see in the pics. I'm not really thinking of getting dirty anytime soon. I'm still waiting for the batts, balancers and charger to arrive. |
The way the truck is built. It should be one tough rc.
Do you plan to get a video of it when testing? Nice job!! |

I'll try to get a video once it is ready to go. I dont think it'll be running in its current condition.
Well, I got some better pics. You can see the fan post I'm using to make the fan rest on it and stay a bit away from the controller to give it the best cooling. I'm also using the UE servo saver unit and titanium center drive shafts. There is also a pic of the ceramic bearing resting inside the copper sleeve I made in a lathe shop to make the 15mm size bearing fit in the 16mm hole of the UE knuckle. The truck is not yet perfect. Not befor I can see it with a wing, slipperential, VBS and the other goodies. |

Some more.
Third pic shows the upper and lower UE arms being polished with Mothers polish to farthest point I could go to. Fourth pic is the UE servo saver. |

Finally, the conroller of choice. I hope it will not blow up with 6 lipo cells.
