Mtroniks ESCs are waterproof. Is the Quark Serum?
nope..
i'v herd of a way that you seran wrap the whole chassis and work quite well but not shure if it wil over heat or not.
chek this out dudes i wish we all can, how is this possible bl 18T and some savages and buggies
?????WERIRD by slap my fro so it good:D http://video.google.ca/videoplay?doc...49&q=brushless |
I think i would try the mtroniks. They supposed to be water proof.
I would be afraid snow would get on stuff and then melt from the heat and then "bad stuff" to happen. Maybe seal the whole interior and then come up with a heatsink/tube/heatpipe system that uses the snow as cooling.

I know the mamba 18th scale brushless stuff is waterproof. I wonder if the Mamba Maxx and Mamba Monster maxx are waterproof?

Mamba Max is NOT waterproof. MMM is not out yet AFAIK, so who knows? |
The Mamba Max has a water resistant coating according to Shawn Palmer, who is one of the higher-ups at CC. If you look closely at the heatsink, you might be able to see some of the clear coating flaking off.
That coating must be thin indeed because I cannot see any type of coating especially on the main batt and motor wires. I think I'll just keep it dry to be safe. :dft012:
Yeah, I talk to Shawn frequently just never asked.
I did drive a mamba underneath water and its still running hehe |
