G3 race suspension

Anybody in here got any experience with the G3 race suspension.

I am thinking if it is worth the money + 30 $ shipping + 25% taxes when it arrives at my home in Denmark?

I am primarely a basher, so is it ok for bashing, even when it is designed for racing?

Regards
Jesper

I use mine for bashin and racing. But would suggest the racer x, it's stronger and the g3 is prone to bending. i just bent one last night. but they do hold up well! Worth the money IMO, but would still get the racer x or even maybe the integy 3 set up is great too.

Yes, if you don't want to spend the money for the RacerX, definately get the Integy Type 3 Pro. Leroy (CoolHandCountry) ran this on his Maxx and never bent ANYTHING. Not bad considering he ran a 2250 in it for a while... I think the G3 is good for racing, but I would even choose the Integy over it for racing since the Integy has no rear turnbuckles (less things to break), is stronger, cheaper, etc.

I installed the g3 suspension last week and it's awesome. The truck handles so much better now. I had rpm arms and stock shock towers before. I don't do any racing, but I'm only a mild basher.

they are very nice with the adjustability. i love mine, but might need something a tad stronger.

Thanks for the answers. I think the racerx will be too expensive. Icannot find any info on the integy type 3 pro. Do you know where to find it?

I kind o like the G3 though. Does it really easily bend, or does it take som abuse?

neweuser 09.15.2006 11:41 AM

it takes some abuse. i only bent mine cuz i was doing mach 3 and went into one heck of a tumble/cartwheel with it, it cartwheeled about 10-15 times over, but only one arm bent a TAD...other than that, i ramped mine pretty good with no probs.

They are more meant for racing, than for bashing, keep that in mind.

You could try to PM CHC and see if he has a link for the type III's.

coolhandcountry 09.15.2006 05:08 PM

The type 3 was in the rc monster store. Not sure if mike still sells it or not.

neweuser 09.15.2006 05:13 PM

he could also get the fast lane?

squeeforever 09.15.2006 05:15 PM

I'm pretty sure it's still in there and he still sells them. I believe they sell pretty good.

Klausen 09.16.2006 01:18 AM

Can I use my MIP´s with all these suspension sets?

Serum 09.16.2006 01:40 AM

Yes, you can..

MIP's are good to go.
