Proline 23MM Hexes????
Regarding the washers that come with these, do you install two on each, one on each, or don't bother to use them at all?
I noticed when I installed both, they were really hard to get on, and seemed to bind the free spinning a little. |
Use only as many as necessary.
i didn't use any, eventually lost them.........
i wish i had used like 2 or something because there is alot of wiggle room.......... |
Thanks guys, I'll just use as many as it takes.
Yeah, untill the bearins are starting to turn bad.. :p
then you need to loose one.. |
I have to agree...i noticed they where a little hard to get onto the end of my cvd, but i ended up using all 3 per wheel......and then snugged the 23mm hexes down....but i didn't super crank them....and put new locktite nuts and the end with a litte blue locktite on the threads as well.....also I put new bearings in as well...just check them from time to time and make sure they are still tight

I tried mine with 2 washers, didn't like how it felt, so i put 3 on there, and I like how it feels now....
Just make sure they are not tooooo tight! :)
I allready did....everything rolls nice & smooth..thanks for the heads up...
I couldn't get the washers on the MIP axles so I did not use them at all. I did notice some play and then one 23mm hub rip off so I had to replace it.:031:
