did it came with holes in the side?

coolhandcountry 09.25.2006 01:15 PM

I orginally designed it with holes in it rene. Mike told me he changed the motor mounting holes to fit the 19 series motor. I don't know how it works with a reg savage chassis.

Serum 09.25.2006 01:16 PM

You designed it for an FLM chassis, right?

captanabolic 09.25.2006 01:42 PM

Coolhand it is your design. Mucho props to you. This is going into a stock Savage X. With a warrior 9920 and a 7 or 8 XL.

coolhandcountry 09.25.2006 01:43 PM

Yeah. The flm exntended low cog chassis. So I not sure what the difference would be. If any really.

I designed it a while back for a 22 series motor and my savage. I still have the mount here if some one needs one for a 22 series. I glad some one else can get some use out of it. Let us know if it works out well on the x.

Serum 09.25.2006 01:46 PM

I think it should work on the X. did you use 2 or 4 holes in the side? and only high positioned holes, or also low positioned holes?

coolhandcountry 09.25.2006 01:49 PM

I used 4 holes for the gas tank front mount I think it was. The frame had it on both side so that is what i used. It was high. A small brace to the back holes would hurt none. Make it just that much better. :D

Serum 09.25.2006 01:54 PM

Yeah, that was what my first design was too (the one i bought in Germany) i made the 2nd longer, and got a small screw in the bottom as well. it made it much tougher.

coolhandcountry 09.25.2006 02:00 PM

I found that insetting the screws made a difference. I guess it took the movement out. but it worked for me. :D
