ttech Predator with mamba max (pics)
these pics are before i got it running, now the setup is alot neater but for now this is all you get lol.
mamba max 5700 gp3300 matched cells fm radio (saving for spektrum) yes that is rust on the screws holding the front shocks, but it is not rust on the steering link. i dunno why those screws rusted. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...edBuild003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...redator001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...redator006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...redator002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...redator010.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...redator007.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...redator009.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...redator008.jpg |
Cool! Revo-style shocks! The way the rear shocks work is neat too. Makes for a small suspension footprint and keeps the shocks out of the majority of the dirt.
How many cells you running and how does it go? [Edit] NM, I see 6 cells now that I look. Doh! |
I spy with my little eye.. A forgotten nut?
|
Does the body fit?
|
Nice, not a fan of saddle packs but like it otherwise. :)

How come those screws are allready rusty?
|
i do not know serum, i put the nut on i must of forgot it.
the screws and that is weird, it has not been exposed to any acidic material or water, and the rust is kind of like a thick oil and it can be rubbed off. i cut out th ebody yesterday but it is not painted yet, it looks SEXY. this thing is very fas, my tires keep coming unglued though |
It's a very nice design. do those rockers use two flanged bearings?
|
yes they do (good eyes rene)
|
Cool. that's doable with a laser cutted part as well then Ryan..
This car deserves titanium screws IMO.. it's a nice racer Toby. |
thanks, at least it is built, i cannot race until next season when i have my license. so for now i race at m friends track that me and him built

I hope that's your backyard!?
|
you like? it is my friends but i go over their about 2-3 times a week and we drive and work on it. The track took about a week to build it, super flowy and fast!.
|
It's very nice man!! you need to get more sand in the corners of that large corner. Makes it even faster.
