welcome to the forums!

i am not trying to be mean but the search button can be very helpful.

also the prices can be found in the Rc-monster.com store..............

if you want cheap with little drivetrain up-grades look at the novak HV-maxx series of systems...............

bigboi146 09.25.2006 07:55 PM

What im saying is that im not trying to spend like $1000. Im not trying to be cheap. What i want is rlliable. And i have searched. It really doesnt help me to much.

Thanks for the help. Maybe i wasnt searching for the right thing.

neweuser 09.26.2006 03:40 PM

Yup. A good way for prices is look at the store, jsut go to the home page and go to Brushless set ups. Then, if you have questions about what your looking at...
Also, what are you looking to spend would help? You could go 9920/xl motor, not sure which one cuz we don't know how many cells you are running....

bigboi146 09.26.2006 04:54 PM

Im getting the FLM chassis soon. So Ill be open to any amount of cells. I dont want to insane. I want something in the 45 mph area.

neweuser 09.26.2006 04:57 PM

That depends on the motor too dude. Try 14 cells 7xl....

Serum 09.26.2006 05:46 PM

the 45 mph range takes some money, to get a stable ride.

here is what i would do;

7075 diffcups
aluminum diffhousings
T-maxx 3.3 bulks
front>stock driveshafts
rear>MIP/UE cvd's
center>stock driveshafts (keep some flex in the drivetrain for less wear)
singlespeed would be nice, or the singlespeed drive-dog (goes for 12 bucks)
setup;

Neu 1512, Quark 125 speedo.

that's a top-notch setup, for relative cheap.

bigboi146 09.26.2006 05:52 PM

Ive got rear shafts already. And since the FLM chassis comes with one dog bone i will be good. Now i need the diff stuff and the motor and controller

Serum 09.26.2006 05:59 PM

You made a nice start then!

Make sure not to save money on the batteries. Good batteries are the key to a fast setup.

bigboi146 09.26.2006 09:10 PM

Ive got gp 3300s from radioshack. Ive recently rebuilt them to side by side configuration. This is my second year in the hobby. I know all about brushed and all and know about the drive train upgrades. I just need to know where i can spend like 350-400 on a bl system. Ill keep doing my homework.

not good? do not save money on the batteries, that is correct, right? help me out Buddy.. It's hard enough being a foreigner... LOL

bigboi146 09.27.2006 10:18 PM

I know a lot about batteries. Im going to stay with my Gold Peak 3300s. Those are good enough for me and are very durble. Im getting the superbrain 997 becouse my current charger is very uncapable of charging todays high Miliamp betteries.
