Mamba Max controller

Can the Mamba Max esc run a bigger motor like the (Nemesis Blue XLT-1, 1500W brushless motor)?

Yes, but don't get a Nemesis from FD. Get a Feigao or Wanderer from Mike. There the same thing...

Can Mike hook me up with the motor mount or clutchbell for the LST?

chazpages 09.28.2006 01:24 AM

no, but fd sucks when it comes to getting warranty repairs...much rather have my money go to mike...

That could be a problem. Are you planning on running the LST with the 2speed? that mount fd uses is kind of weak. you are better off making your own. you can also get a FOC for the LST, which makes it light. As far as i could see it, it looks like it locks it in gear as well.

Mike could indeed help you with a motor mount. He can CNC you one if you give him the demensions or design it in a program like eMachine Shop.

emachineshop can be downloaded for free from their site

Actually it eliminates all the gears except for thr high range (reverse and lowrange) that the racer doesn't need. I just got an LST with all LST2 parts and honestly the low range is as useful as first in a emaxx

Thanks!

why don't you LST runners use the high and low gearing with a servo? (and perhaps in addition with a opti-drive from the revo)
