Monster Max

When is it going to be released? Is it going to be fast?

Serum 09.29.2006 06:12 AM

Welcome to the forum king. What truck are you talking about?

captain harlock 09.29.2006 08:05 AM

I think he is speaking about the Castle Creations Mamba Monster Max controller?

crazyjr 09.29.2006 09:04 AM

Welcome to the forum, Don't think it will happen till after the new year, the betas are not out yet. If they do it like the mamba max, it will be worth the wait

I wrote Castle an email the other day and the response was that there is no targeted release date. He also mentioned that it was difficult to design and time consuming to test a 2000w+ controller from the ground up. I was impressed to get the response within a day though.

Thanks for the replys. I might wait for it to come. I was looking at a warrior 99120 with an XL9.

How many cells are you planning on using?

aqwut 10.02.2006 10:33 AM

HOLY COW>.. I WANT THAT ESC......

99 Cells and 120 Amps continuous...... :) j/k

E-Maxx King 10.02.2006 11:41 PM

14 cells

aqwut 10.03.2006 05:25 AM

why wait for the Monster Maxx?.. get a good setup from RC Monster.....

Rtsbasic 10.03.2006 07:24 AM

9920 is a good and capable controller for the min.

The Mamba I'm sure will be fast once its ready. Like someone else said its not even at beta yet. Think they might be having a bit of trouble out-doing themselves at the min, the current Mamba is rated higher than all its 1:10 competitors.

Welcome Emaxx King! Isn't that the same avatar Hot n Cold uses? LOL

Serum 10.03.2006 12:00 PM

That's confusing.. You are right, it is that avatar.

E-Maxx King 10.04.2006 02:54 PM

YEP! But doesnt the warrior only use 1 battery and Ill need a ubec and I dont know anything about that.

neweuser 10.04.2006 03:00 PM

You can wire the controller to series wiring that can take two batts. The ubec you just solder to the same deans that you use for the series wiring on the controller.
