Yet another "Mike is Great" thread . . .
 

Well, I've got to start another thread here about my experience. I recently did a conversion of a Lightning Stadium 10 to brushless with the Mamba Max system. Well, it's been great, but the motor has been getting hot. Part of the problem has been that the lowest tooth count I could find was a 12 tooth in the Mod 1 with an 1/8" shaft. I kept looking for a 10 tooth pinion, but it just doesn't exist with the 1/8" shaft. A couple guys here on the forum said I should ask Mike.

Well, to make a long story short(er) I sent him an e-mail. He responded and said he could make a bore reducer for me for $10 and it would work with a Mod 1 10t pinion. I said great and asked him to do it. Well, I hadn't heard from him in a couple days about the final dollar amount and sent him another e-mail to check in. The dude replies and says the pinion and the bore reducer are already in the mail! :027: Seriously, I hadn't even paid the guy and he mailed the stuff out to me. I immediately sent payment to him and was just blown away.

I have got a clear visual of him though, he is blue, has got two teeth, a transmitter grown in his left hand, and has got one eye.

Ya that would be him...I met him at the bash...real cool guy....kinda strange just looking at he one eye ..though...lol......yes Mike is awesome.....i just ordered my gmaxx chassis from him w/ a ext....today..a real pleasure to deal with....now i'm just waiting for the slipperential...and to hear back from BK..and I'm set to go.....don't take it literal mike....your A+++ in my book man....

preseason doesn't really count man...the regular season does...but what really matters is the playoffs ....that's when it really picks up.....

Yea - i feel for me too - If im not mistaken - the redwings are in third place so far ( regular season games ) not bad - just 2 places under the rangers in First = ) That is subject to change though - i mean the wings could go up in the standings i guess *cough cough*... J/K
