HV-Maxx 6.5-4.5

Whats the speed compared to each other? Whatz the runtime compared to each other? Im wondering if should get the faster system or get the one with more runtime? Ill be running GP4300 7 cells, which is like 17.64 volts.

Ok, I have advised you about the GP4300's....Your on your own for that one. I told you not to get them...Go for IB3800's or 4200's. Also, I would NOT get a HV. Get something else if you want speed and runtime. A Feigao C 10XL on 16 cells would get you around 40ish MPH and still get 20 or more minutes of runtime depending on how you drive...

Why not the GP4300? I can only go 14 cells. The HV-Maxx is sold in stores so my parents could get one for christmas.

The GP4300's aren't great. They don't hold there voltage well under load for one thing...

What is the speed and runtime on the 4.5 on 14 cells? Would I need to upgrade the diffs? Can I do 2nd gear wheelies on demand? What gearing for the 4.5 and 6.5?

The speed, runtime, and wheelie questions are the same one I'm interested in. Obviously the non-sensored setups are better in terms of overall power and speed, but I'd like to know the answers for the HV 4.5, too...

me too. cant seem to get an anserw.

Guys here aren't the ones running HVs... I have never seen one run myself except on some video clips

The HV can do almost 35ish, i've heard a tad more maybe. The hv can do wheelie's in second gear, but i would not state on "demand". I can do rolling wheelie's with my 9xl going around 30 no problem.
Also, anyone who has parents, just have them look at this site! That's all you need to do. Have them read the feedback for Mike and what great guy he is.
the thing is guys, you can get twice the system for half the money while upgrading the same componets as any other system.
Also, if you look for suggestions, and then do what your gonna do against advice...WHY ASK? That's my two cents.
If you want an HV, get one, they are not bad, but why spend the money on something that is not as reliable? Or not as fast? Not as efficient?:032: :031: :032: :027:

The hv is reliable. But, the 6.5 is about 32-35ish and great wheelies (with bps fan mod the 6.5 can be pushed to 40 without overheating). The 4.5 can give you 40, and maybe a tad over, and great wheelies too. My hv4400 would wheelie from about 20mph before the rotor went bad from overheating, but the 6.5 solved this problem. Runtime on 14 good cells would be 20-30 minutes.
