NEW E-Savage!!!

Attachment 1881 Attachment 1882 I wanted to start a new project and have never had a savage. What do you guys think.? It would be easy to convert over to brushless, yes? I've always had Traxxas, mostly Revo's. Is there a better brand than the stock savage shocks to go with? I always see the shocks getting stretched or blown some how. I'm curious why HPI took such a crappy (IMO) design when they could have made a real E-Savage using the original Savage X and turned it to electric.

Well, HPI needs something that will break faster.... so this is why they did this..
Most of the hobby shop in my area hardly ever carry any savage parts.... I ask why, he said " there are no demands for these parts"..... the original savage is an awesome truck.... it couldn't be any worse that an E-maxx 2.5?.. right?.. :) |
I wonder what is so wrong with the e-maxx 2.5? And I'm wondering when it was upgraded to a 3.3, to warrant it being termed the 2.5 lol?

...no it doesnt actually HAVE diffs...There are these little rubber bands that run from front to rear and left to right...we just wind them up, put the truck on the ground, let it go and just chase it around until it runs out of 'go' :P
