which stampede chassis is lighter?

does anyone know which stampede chassis is lighter? the fastlane machine chassis(normal size) or the xtreme rc racing carbon fiber chassis?

thanx

i would have to imagine the carbo fiber chassis would be lighter. unless it is laced with a ton of aluminum

Normally CF is much lighter than aluminum

The CF might be a bit lighter, but I'd take the FLM chassis over it anyday. I say this simply because a Stampede is usually a basher and the FLM chassis is likely to hold up better under abuse...not to mention FLM has an awesome warranty.

It all depends on what you do with your truck.

CF is pretty freaking tough.

ya u was wonderin becuase i know the fastlane machine is lighter then stock but i would imagine the carbon fiber would aswell. i bash all the time so ill probly go with fast lane but sometimes like some carbon fiber:027: .

skellyo 10.21.2006 01:19 PM

If you bash, I suggest the FLM just due to the warranty they offer. It's also nice having a bit longer chassis (if you buy the extended chassis) to help with the handling of the truck.
