Question .....!!!!!

I guys,

I read in a different forum (ultimaterc) this kind of combination (esc/motors):

4WD 1/8 and 1/10 monster truck conversions (Savage)

Possible ESCs

• Warrior 9920, (SL)
Possible Motors

• BK Wanderer , 12XL (SL)

What do you think about this?
and which could be the best set up in terms of gearing (I have spur 52) and number of cell?

I don't want higher speed, 35 mhp is enought

Welcome to RC-monster Sharky!

The 12XL is a bit of a slow turner..

For your speed, the 8XL/9XL would work well on 14 cells. an 18 or 20T pinion would do.

Be ready for serious acceleration.. What savage are you using? the diffs might need some work!

Welcome sharky.
I think the 12xl may be to slow for you. Go 9xl and gear to speed you want.

Thanks for the answers guys,

I have a Savage 21 and my objective is to obtain enough run time (30 min.) I bought a BK warrior 9920 and I want to buy a motor brushless Wanderer Serie 20 9 or 10L.
what do you think?
And what is the best set up in terms of gearing and cells?

30 minutes of runtime takes quite some batteries!

The L series will be too hot to do the task for your savage.
Forget about the 9L, the 10L is quite hot allready. If you want to go for runtime, you are better off with a lower KV

I would go 8xl, or 9xl...go with the feigo motor though instead of the wanderer. With a 9xl, you would have more options for gearing to your liking.

I would suggest a xl motor as well. The 9xl or 8xl would do nice. 30 mins on 14 cells though is going to be hard.

Very true CHC, i could hardly get 20 with 16cells
