Savage Brushless which engine? Maxx with 2250 ?

Hi Brushless junkies!

I have a savage sitting here which wants to get his brushless engine, the
controller will be a mgm 16024 which arrived a few days ago.

Which engine would fit ?

I have NO experience with engines from other manufacturers than Lehner,
Plettenberg or Hacker.

My arsenal of engines consists of c40l, c50maxx, pletti max and big maxx, lehner 1940.

I like the pletti but i only works well with a schulze controller - i have one 32.170 which is sitting in my emaxx. -> No pletti for the savage.

I would like to use a 1950 lehner - how much turns? My 1940 is 8 turns.

What about a 2250 ? Overkill ?

I really want to install a 2250 in a maxx this winter but i think it would be overkill for the savage.

BTW: Will a 2250 fit the standard emaxx mounting plate? Or is it to big so it has to be mounted with a special plate ? Can i simply drill new holes for the bigger bolt/pitch circle diameter (donīt know if it is the correct expression)?

So let me summarize:

1.) Which would you consider the best engine for a savage (i am a power freak, consider this!) - 1950/2250, how many turns for about 18-20cells ?

2.) Will a 2250 fit without big modifications in a emaxx ? (supermaxx to be precise, it has to be build in the winter, i am collecting and ordering parts at the moment).

3.) How many turns for the 2250 with about 20 cells in the maxx.

Thanks.

Marc.

2250 in a savage is great. I think for 20 cells a 2250 8t or 9t is good.
