sup Guyz i have a 11pound truggy with 12 cells in it right now im running two 700 motors it it and i want to go brushless with it but i want better acceleration and to go about 45-50 mph is it possable with this heavy weight
i all so want about 10min of run time what should i do ??

But your going to need a strong slipper!

I would get a strobe slipper...and depending on the motor you choose...you can run a 16, 18, pinion
with the 51t spur

im using a tmaxx trany and i havent heard of anyone useing the neo motors

45-50mph is asking a bit much from 12 cells. Speeds like that are usually attained with 16+ cells.

I have a hard time seeing a 11lb truck go over 45mph on 12 cells. Maybe with a Neu, but still... 40 is concievable, but I wouldn't count on much more.

Best bet would be to up the voltage 14-16 cells, or better yet 4 or 5s lipo. A neu (2200kv, 1515, 1Y) would def take you there then, and so too should an XL motor like a 7 or 8 (if 5s). Can't comment on the Neu 1512's. Obviously this is dependent on your exact setup, but should be a close ballpark.

Twin 700 motors must add a fair bit of weight anyway. I wouldn't run a 7XL on 12 cells, it aint pretty!

so the 1515, 1Y on 14 mite do the trick?

On a truggy, I wouldn't run less than 14. I would run 16 or more, but thats just me...

Going 50 mph plus is not that hard on 12 cells. I've done it will a light weight E-maxx running a Basic 3100XL and a 7XL (No not at the same time:027: )on 12 "good" cells. This was using very high gearing.
For your weight truck I would use more cells to meet your goal. It will be a much better setup than trying to run 45 to 50 mph on 12 cells.

There was also a guy that used to post on the old maxxtraxx board that ran over 50 mph with an 8L on 12 cells.

You said something different i thought. I read that post of promod ages ago about the 50mph on 12 cells with the XL3100.
