Budget E-Maxx Setup
 

Well I am looking to buy an e-maxx roller or actually an rtr and then i am looking to throw in existing parts:

I already own a 9l from previous project and then i have a left over quark 80b and would run that on 4s...is this ok? i am gonna take some of the shocks off so that i's lighter and i'd prolly lock the tranny into second...lmk what you guys thinK?

My guess is that it would be ok as long as you gear it "right" and don't expect to go 50mph.

I ran my emaxx with the Hacker setup... C50 (12s) and the Sport controller which is only rated 66A. It ran pretty good... but I smoked the controller running my 1/8 buggy and an 8L.

Just keep the gearing conservative at first and check temps...

well wouldn't have been for speed really just for messing around but i didn't buy the e-maxx so i guess i'll save the stuff for something else
