BL--Losi XXX-Cr
hey guys, back:) yes sad to say i sold me maxx.....:010: but ived moved on guys. finally after being in this froums for about 7-8 months and not having brushless made me feel kinda-dumb......:005: well ived moved on to racing electric and bought a new losi CR.
really a nice buggy and want to go brushless FINALLY:004: :018: lol my Price range is about 200-250 with a esc and motor...... I have looked at the mambamaxx and like it. but i dont know what to pic. I dont need wheelie pop-ing insane power. just good enough speed LIKE...30-35MPH and i really want something to run as cool as it can. what im thinking about: mamba maxx 4600KV ahould i go up to 5700KV or should i get something different and better for the same price...... thanks guys:018: |
To be honest, the MM setup is the best for the price, but if you can spend the extra dollars, get the MM ESC and a Neu 1509 or a Lehner 1920, but out of the MM systems, I would choose the 4600 for racing.

i think the MM 4600 would be just fine. i think BrianG hit 47 with the MM 4600 on 2s2p li-ion's in his bl jato.........
*edit* you beat me to it squee! |
The 4600 should put you in the low-mid 30's with ease.

Geared right, it'll run all day long no problem - just keep adding batteries. |
great, so i should get the MM 4600... thanks guys.

what about the lehner basic motors
like 4200????? |
That would be nice as well. I would choose the Lehner 1920 or a Neu motor first though...

There won't be much difference between the basic motors and the castlecreations.
The only upgrade you could consider is using a motor with a segmented magnet, such as the lehner or the Neu. But the 4600 is a relative cool running motor, and like you said, you'r not looking for wheelie popping power. Just get the 4600 setup, you won't be sorry. |
