I was tired of breaking chassis
 

I was tired of breaking chassis on my triplext and i was not even running BL. for some reason I will be putting a HV 6.5 in my xxx-t. So i decided to make a steel chassis. I know it seems heavy but this is a proto type i am just seeing if it holds up and works and then i will use it as a template to make one out of carbonfiber works well all i need are some longer scwews small spacers a antena tube and the BL set up and i am good to go. Also does any body have a xxx-t. If you do do you have to replace any gears for a BL setup or will the stock ones hold.

thanks guys I knew I'd seen them but I did not know who made them. Any way how to make the trans to hold up to the HV 6.5. any performance gears or it is fine as is. thanks

(got sickes idea.- HV 6.5, 2 7 cell 4300s, proline max wabash white weels in back with road hogs and smaller different white wabash weels in front with MIP CVDs and front graphite lower bulkhead with Black body with white flames. it will be like a two wheel drive truggy with out the wing and a lot faster and longer run times. I know i could just make a truggy but this will be fun because nobody has a xxx-t with hv and wabash weels in back and front. cant wait)

I'm not sure of the intentions of which this car was built for, but I have to point out that this would be an AWESOME drag car.

yes it was built for racing and bashing as a stadum truck but it seemed slow and not fun enough (not as fun as maxx or other 4wds) but yes with a wheelie bar it would dominate the drag strip. thanks and any clue on whst i need to bullet proof

the hv wont fit.... the heat sinc is too big to fit into the tranny hole, i dont know how u could get that idea to work proerly...... i would put a bl system from rcmonster in there

dump th HV idea and get a sensorless system. Same amount of money.

the only reason i am putting an hv in this is because i can get one for 100 bucks 200 cheaper than normal and even if it is a little use and it does not have a much power and or speed it will be plenty enough for this plus it will be extra fun to bash with all that torque and it comes with esc.

i dont think it will over heat because if it was that easy for it to over heat novak would include it in the package unstead of making it opional if it was needed. plus i will be using normal 550 size half sized heatsinks and i will just remove motor skid.

The chassis on my xxx-t was my only complaint. What I did was take my broken chassis and cut off the arm things on the front and then make some mounts out of lexan. I just haven't gotten around to testing it.
