Lipo padding

I was placing my Lipo on my Maxx yesterday, the chassis is designed around cells, so the Lipo... in it's beutiful brick form just sat on the top and slid up and down. No real grip.

Can you get like an adhesive foam, to imitate the curved case of cells to stick on the Lipo?

Picture to explain:

I'm sure its possible. Just gotta find some...

Just use some fairly thick foam. Rubberized weatherstripping works well - it's about 1/4" thick, firm, and yet molds itself to whatever cells you use. And since it's ribberized, it forms another electrical insulator.

true that brianG - and you can readily find it everywhere - Home depot, lowes, walmart etc.....

Well, I've been using this stuff (first item on page) and it works very well. But, I've only found this exact stuff at Menards. Lowe's has something similar, but it's not quite as firm.

What's nice is that it is cheap and plentiful so replacing worn out foam is easy to do.

I would think that styrefoam rod cut in half would work too. You can get it at an arts/craft store like Michaels. Nice and firm just get the size closest to the sub c batts.
