Servo wiring

I was looking to make my xmod work on a regular esc and reciever but i wanded to use the xmod servo. Here is a picture of the servo wires. there are a regular 3 wire servo setup that i can use if i pluges them into a threeprong conector. But there is 2 more wires. I have figured out what these do the 2 wires alone (black and white power the steering servo motor. The other 3 wires (black, red, and white) control the direction of which the servo turns and stops and something like that. If i were to wire this servo to work in a regular reciever with 3 prong conector(like normal servos) how would i wire these 5 wires in order to make it work with a normal reciever setup. I think i use the regular 3 wires togeather in a group but where would i attach the two other wires black and white. how would i wire it into a 3 prong set up. Thanks

i had a micro quark laying around and a reciever also the chip that the stock xmod uses is broke on mine so i wanted to use a new system all togeather but keep the servo.

I would think it would be easier just to finagle a real servo in there (maybe a micro??). It looks like the white and black single wires are the motor wires and the three red/black/white wires are the potentiometer feedback wires. Normally, the feeback circuit is included in the servo so you never see them. Basically what you have there is the mechanical parts of the servo seperate from the electronics (controller and feeback), which are on the main board along with the main motor controller.
