Integy diff housings O.K.?

anyone know how good or bad the integy diff housings are. tower has em for $22. I also just saw a website NOVA RC products and they sell a 7075 diff cup with the 2mm screws and one with 3mm screws. does nayone have any experience with nova products. they have a diff housing that looks alot better than integy for 5 bucks more. plus is cnc machined unlike integy. will the 2mm screws hold if it's in an aluminm cup?

I think the integy diff housings look nice. I am sure they help the strength out as well.

I am using the maximizer diffcups on mine (7075 aluminum) and i love them. Good thing about he maximizers is they haven't got round edges to hold the internal shaft. (the small shaft that holds the small gears) the nova's might be okay, but i had an unforgivable issue with their revo cups in which they lacked. (in both communication and engineering)

I also use the Integy housings. after a total of about 5 hours+ running i took the apart yesterday, and the gears/cup still looks like brand new. I even abused it with a 7XL on 5S lipo.

So, to get a long story short; get the maximizer cups with the Integy housings. You'll be fine..

You funny! Let me clarify if I may, what diffs? Are you using HB's, UE's? Does that help?

Thanks!

Integy housings only fit the 1/10th diffs, no 1/8th.

so you are using HB's? Or stockers? This is why I'm curious, because I know Integy only fits the 1/10th.

Serum 12.01.2006 01:27 PM

What makes you think i am using HB's? what gave you the suggestion? HB doesn't make 1/10th diffs that fit the stock sized integy cases..

( i am not answering your question, i know, but i think you can filter the answer from my posts? LOL )

neweuser 12.01.2006 01:39 PM

Well, the reason the question arose, is because I only know of 1/10th diffs (the stockers), but no where in this thread states the actual diff being used. Just the casings and cups. So really, there is nothing to filter IMO. Soory for being abrupt, but I really thought it was a fairly easy inquiry that was made into a ten post fiascal. Sorry for being diff stupid!

The maximizer diff cup fits a stock emaxx diff. Not hb or 1/8.
The integy houseing only fits the stock emaxx diff. Not hb or 1/8.

If I am not mistaken they are the ones that come from me. Was orginally in
maxx fusions truck. The gmaxx in the store.

neweuser 12.01.2006 02:50 PM

That is a nice maxx too by the way! Thanks guys. Part of the misunderstanding is that combo bulks fit HB diffs from what I've read? And the combo bulks fit the stock gears? This is why I'm confused.

coolhandcountry 12.01.2006 03:05 PM

Where did you read about combo bulks?

Serum 12.01.2006 03:48 PM

The combo bulks of FLM come in two sorts; one that fits 1/8th diffs and one for the stockers..

coolhandcountry 12.01.2006 04:03 PM

I got you rene. I don't remember you talking about you having the combo
bulks in your truck though. I was wondering where neweuser got the combo
info from.
