Tmaxx
Hello I am new to this site.I have a question My inlaw wants too sell me his Tmaxx for 200 bucks comes with all the gear. He said just ran too break in the engine is this a good deal?:027:
|
Hi! Welcome!
This is not a tipical nitro forum, it's more electric oriented. What gear is included? Did he ran in its first engine or his 4th with that chassis? :p |
Is any thing upgraded on it? Is he experenced in nitro?
|
I just realized that.I did a search and your site popped up.Well its on the first engine all stock .He has little experience in intro. Can the truck be converted too electric is there a conversion kit out there.
|
Yeah, you can get an FLM chassis for it. but you would also need a gearbox, charger, batteries, motor and speedo..
You can also convert the t-maxx to electric with the t-maxx transmission/chassis. |
You could check out the ebay. You could get a gmaxx chassis for it.
You would need a emaxx gear box. You could make your own conversion for it. Put a mount on it and strap batteris down. Run a two speed auto. Just a few suggestions. |
I don't think the conversion is worth the hassle thanks anyway.I am amazed how powerfully the brush-less are even in RC airplane they can fly around for a long time.I did nitro airplane for awhile but I stopped for a few years.I want too get into trucks now I think it will be cheaper. lol
|
Think again.. LOL!!
i can tell you from my own experience, it won't be very cheap.. |
I don't know if it is cheaper or not. It sure is fun though. If you want a all
aluminum truck. I would build it from scratch. If you want something fairly stock. I would go with the 3.3 stuff. |
Thanks for the help. What do you compare the power from brush less motors to nitro motors.Talking about aluminum I have a in law that has a machine shop and a CNC machine I wonder if I can build a few parts.I need something too copy first.
