diff is loose ? how to fix?

Hey guys, since I can't run the truck I've been tweaking and testing everything.

I noticed my diffs have some play in them. Which later on could lead to some serious problems. Anyone have some ideas that will make them stiff in the bulkheads?

Ive only dealt with UE diffs and for those I have to shim them to make sure the play side to side is minimal...... if you have too much play you will end up ruining your diffs, what kind of diffs are they?

I have integy diff cases and FLM diff cups.

I took some spare foam from the G-maxx stuff and stuffed it into where I could. I think it solved my problem.

I have the Maximizer diff cups and integy cases and used the traxxas washers to shim so I have very little play from side to side.

Redneck fix. I used some leftover foam from my gorrila maxx trays

Not sure if I can see it correctly but the shims go on the inside of the case. Is that what you are talking about ?

nope. It was the case it self that was loose. Look on left and right side of the case you'll see a gum like blue looking substance. Thats the soft foam.

Redneck yes. But it solves my problem. The truck runds super smooth now.

ok. I have those cases and I dont have any play.
