NICE done!

A controller normally doesn't get hot when the motor is unloaded though.

Is that castlecreations wire you used?! :p

coolhandcountry 12.10.2006 10:03 AM

Could it be the motor has such a sucky effiecency that it makes to much
wattage into heat?

zeropointbug 12.10.2006 01:41 PM

NICE! You made me want to try it again!! :019:

Yah, i tried the same thing with running no load... the motor as pathetic efficiency no load, it gets warm instantly! The controller got a little warm. You really shouln't do it though, you could rev the motor past it's safety limit...

zeropointbug 12.10.2006 01:43 PM

Oh, and yes! I love the wire you used there! What brand is it, and/or where did you get it.

andywpj 12.10.2006 02:18 PM

yes i change motor and power wire to castle creations 12AWG wire .

i think is mod no heat problem, if need just add outside heatsink.

Serum 12.10.2006 03:48 PM

Yeah, you did a great job, no doubt.

Reving a motor on no load is bad... you would not be the first who broke a magnet on his feigao! if it brakes, it can result in a burned down speedo.
