spectrum help
hey can't seem to get it to calibrate to the mamba max esc any help?

First, did you bind the receiver to the transmitter? You can tell by simply working the steering servo. If that works, then the transmitter is bound. If not, then you need to get this working first.
If that is fine, make sure your EPA is set to 100% or more on the throttle channel. Set your throttle trim to "0". Then, just follow the instructions in the MM ESC manual. You may want to check to make sure the throttle channel is not reversed. |
I did bind it but I think it is how the radio is set-up.. 70/30 trigger. will check all can program in reverse but no good. will keep trying.

That's odd, mine came set to 50/50. Like I said, make sure the throttle EPA in both forward and reverse is set to 100%-125% and the trim set to 0. This should set it up for 50/50. Once this is done, you could try reversing the throttle channel, but I don't remember having to do this.
Do you have the Spektrum system or a module setup? If using a Futaba-based radio, you will have to reverse the throttle channel... A dumb question, but do you have the throttle connector plugged into the receiver correctly? Having it in the wrong way won't hurt anything, but it won't work. What about power? Are you using the MM BEC, external UBEC, or receiver pack? |
th. will calibrate but the brake will not

I made an edit to my post about Futaba based radios...
