Man i have always wanted to so that it will be killer not sure castle creations might have one or get a regular one and water proof it.

the mtroniks I think is water proof. Maybe check out one of them.

I believe the Mamba Max will work great for you. If I'm not mistaken, it is water proof or at least water resistant.

Yeah, the MM ESC has a coating on the circuit board, but the USB contacts and all the wiring is exposed. Also, the SM components aren't protected either from what I could tell.

I wonder a marine esc wil that work? They are water proof, can they be used?

Look at the Mtroniks ESCs. They are 100% waterproof due to their design.

What are the SM componets? I've thought about using the MM in snow. I would put a piece of tape over the USB Port. Then after word open it up and put it on a air vent to dry.

I think a piece of tape won't put you there. it won't make a waterproof controller.

i would personally make some kind of box with the fins sticking out..

sjcrss 12.17.2006 03:55 PM

is this gonna be a nitro conversion or are you going to convert one of the electric ones to BL power....

gizzmo79 12.17.2006 03:58 PM

i'm only converting an elektric to bl

sjcrss 12.17.2006 04:58 PM

doesn't it use 2 motors...to move tracks in opposite directions to make vehicle turn.......?...something to consider

coolhandcountry 12.17.2006 06:29 PM

If it takes a single esc the mtroniks is not real high. Water proof to. If takes
two of them. I not sure then.
