ext. e-maxx chassis weight?
was wondering if anyone knows the weight of them..lmk

cf or aluminum?
they weight next to nothing.. 4 screws, two aluminum spacers, a front-skid without the bent, and an upperplate which is 30mm longer than the normal one. They weight less than the UE extender. |
I was wondering about the fast lane chassis..

My bad, didn't see in what thread you posted..
It's 358 grams. |
gets confusing with more than one extended chassis.
Gmaxx is lighter. |
well I figure fo rthe price for a basher the fastlane is all I need now. I don't like putting 250.00 in a basher chassis..lol might still though..trying to help keep the front down now.. thanx for the weight..

I was going to weigh the FLM chassis for you since mine is unassembled for polishing. But as often happens.....Serum beat me too it!
The FLM chassis is great for a basher and is WAAAYY lighter than it looks. Holding the batteries on can be an issue. G-Maxx strapps work pretty well on the side-by-side NiMh cells but you'll want battery trays that fit your lipo's if that's what you're using. Otherwise you WILL lose them. PM me if you need any other info on it. I'd be happy to help. |
I take it that Mike is selling the "New" FLM chassis with ladder like battery slots (not the one pictured on his site).
If that is the case, then perhaps you can put some adhesive backed velcro on those "ladder steps" to keep your batteries from sliding out, while also using the included battery straps to keep the batteries down. |
Yes,
Mike is selling the new version. |
