BK Warrior/LMT English Version???
Is there an English version of the LMT/BK Warrior programming software?
I've also read in one spot Windows 3.1/95/98 only w/no support for NT/2000/XP and in another spot will support 2000 & XP Can anyone offer help here? I'm considering the 9920 with an 8XL or 1940/8t but constantly converting from german to english would be a PITA and if there is no support for 2000/XP that might make me go away from the Warrior series despite it's performance. |
I think mike gave me the translation of the program.
Once you figure out the german words are for. It is just like reading English. I don't know if still have it or not. |
I know that I have never had sucess with running the Warrior software on XP. It says that it is compatable in the the instructions, but for some reason with XP it cant read or write to the controller. I know Mike runs his on 2000 w/ no issues. He has also tryed running it on XP when I was trying to figure out why I couldnt get it to run properly and had the same issue on XP.
As far as I know the software works on everything except XP. I have asked a number of times if they are ever going to fix this, but it just seems to go into a black hole with no response what so ever. I guess they dont care that Castle is going to run circles around them with the Mamba Monster Max when it comes out. As far as an english version, I think that the translation sheet CHC mentioned is all I have seen also. |
Leroy,
If you find the translation please let me know. JHautz, I like the PC programmable ESC's. I wish CC would release the damn MMM already! I'd order one NOW! Tempted to buy an MM and run an 8XL or 1940/8t on 12 NIMH cells with a UBEC then buy an MMM when it comes out and also upgrade to 5s or 6s. Any thoughts on that? I'd rather not spend $600+ on a motor/controller right now. $250 -$400 sounds more appealing since there are other things I want/need to buy. |
