Slipperential Worth The Money For Racing?

hi guys, i will be racing this summer, building my ultimate racing brushless emaxx, what are it's advantages(sliepperential) , and also which is best to get for suspension upgrades? ue or gorilla maxx g3 suspension,is flm hybrid bulks ok to get versus ue bulkless ?i do have 2 brushless emaxx, i will sell the parts and my other parts to fund my new gmaxx, thanks

I would honestly say that the Slipperential is the most worthwhile upgrade you can get. You have the advantages of a center diff along with a slipper...Can't beat that...As for suspension, the UE Racer-X is by far the best. Not cheap, but the best...The setback arms and high impact front arms (high impact fronts are hard to get) are also a nice addition...As for bulkless, the UE again, is the best. The UE has more caster, etc. It isn't just a direct replacement with not mods like the FLM is. Don't get me wrong the FLM is nice, but the doesn't improve handling like the UE. If you can afford it, get the UE Racer-X and the VBS....

I got one coming. The advantages is no wheelies unless really thick oil.
The slipper will give instead of breaking driveline when landing jumps.
I can say a center diff will help driveablity. I think it is worth it. I don't race.

Ditto on the UE vs the rest. Clearly the best out there.

thanks for the reply guys, i might have another competitor who is buliding his revo gorillamaxx, given the same good driver will i be able to beat the revo along with ofna truggies that i will compete with?is getting a faster servo with high torque (i have tha hitec 5645 .20 sec& 130+ torque, can't remember exact figures) also helps? and what about spektrum vs FM radios( I'm using FM airtronics MX3 at this time) is upgrading with radio also helps with faster response on the truck?

As for competeing against revos and truggys.... The slipperential basically makes the maxx a truggy. The biggest diference to a race spec emaxx and a truggy is the center diff and now you will have one to. As for the revo... Just hope he doesnt get the gen2 slipperential that Mike is working on now for the Revo Gmaxx conversions. Thats what I'm waiting for for my revo.:027:

A better servo almost always makes a diference IMO. You really dont need more than 200oz servo though. More than that doesn't make much difference IMO.

I have a CF G2R...and I have to say that its on power steering is already rediculous. I could probably honestly say that the slipperential will only put you up to par with a G2R...the G2R's just handle amazing.

I personally use a servo with 333oz of torque...but like jhautz said, anything with 200+ should be sufficient.
